Kat Reiner, LMHCA (she/her)
Kat is a psychodynamic therapist working with adults, couples, and young children at the CTS Counseling Center in Indianapolis. She is interested in the ways our earliest relationships become part of our inner worlds—shaping what we expect from others, how we protect ourselves, and what we come to believe is possible. Her style is warm, curious, and engaged. Rather than approaching symptoms as problems to simply eliminate, she works collaboratively to understand what they may be expressing and to make room for parts of experience that have been difficult to know, feel, or put into words.
Kat earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Christian Theological Seminary. Her psychodynamic approach incorporates play, Brainspotting, mindfulness, breathwork, and body-based practices, allowing therapy to attend to experiences that may live beyond words as well as the stories we consciously carry. She completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2016 and breathwork course with Eliah Prichard in 2022.
Her work is ultimately about creating enough space to encounter more of ourselves—and, from there, more possibility in how we live.
